It’s been a long time in the making, but I’m thrilled to announce that Flyball Manager now includes support for single elimination brackets!

This journey started back in 2020 with a major project: completely re-writing the database layer. That foundational work set the stage for everything that followed, including a critical update to the scheduling engine.

The release of version 6.x of Flyball Manager brings a significant change to the scheduling engine within the app. Big thanks goes out to Dale Smith for sharing his algorithm for scheduling with me.

Here is a quick guide to getting up to speed with the new scheduling engine.

Today version 6.0.0 of Flyball Manager has been released. This version is a complete re-write of the scheduling engine. I would like to thank Dale Smith for sharing his algorithm with me to make the Flyball Manager scheduling engine better.

There are numerous other UI enhancements and bug fixes. All in all if you have used a previous version of Flyball Manager you will find yourself right at home with this new version.
